Apple wouldn't care much this time because one, the iPad is much smaller revenue stream compared to the iPhone, and second, they already did the work with iOS so adjusting iPadOS won't be a significant hurdle.

Anonymous, 03 May 2024Just use LocalSend. Better than Google Quick Share/Nearby Share. LocalCast sometimes just refuses to work and I don't have any idea why. Sometimes it just randomly crashes and other times it works fine. It's full of bugs.

Anonymous, 03 May 2024Some dumb people may think that Apple will leave the EU and... moreEU does NOT need Apple anyways. They have a more interesting line up than here in the US. Only Samsung and Apple run the block. Others like OnePlus, Sony and Motorola are not seen outside anymore lol.
If Apple leaves EU, it will give competitors the upper hand and lose out on so many sales. According to Canalys, in the full, fiscal year of 2023, Samsung took up 34% of the European smartphone market share (excluding Russia). Apple marched in second with 27% and leaving Xiaomi with 17%. That's almost 80% alone.
