19.5:9 aspect ratio is a very good move from Sony. Hopefully, Sony Xperia 10 VI gets something better than slopdragon 695 and then I will consider getting it

Why have they put the SD/SIM slot on the top side of the phone when in landscape? Looks absolutely horrible having that “door” there next to all the buttons!

I always love the colors Sony puts on their phones. Looks very premium.
They needs better software support, lower prices and much better camera software if they want to compete tho.

they make one of the top 3 best phone brands ..... no apple is not top 10 even
but they don't want to, they expect us to pay 1500.00 euros for a phone ...no stores nothing...like they don't care

Not every step forward is the right one, under display scanners exist because they are cheaper, not better for everyone (and it is so annoying that people that have no issues with them, full on ignore the people that do have issues)

Anders, 03 May 2024I really wish they'd switch to an ultrasonic under dis... moreWhat sony does is fine, and it would be nice if sasmung ditched the ultra sonic scanner, because when it works it works great, but the are too picky with certain finger prints.
Optical scanners are less secure than ultra sonic, but often work with less issues, but physical scanners are better than both.
Kinda annoying that because people just accepted tge under display scanner, they also ignore it's issues.

I really wish they'd switch to an ultrasonic under display fingerprint scanner. Side mounted isn't bad, but for a phone that's going to cost the same as a Samsung Ultra, it isn't unreasonable to expect better. It needs to come with minimum 4 Android version updates too.
Also it's unacceptable that they've downgraded the 10 VI by removing the telephoto camera. They did the same with last year's 5 V.
It's almost like Sony don't want their phones to make them money.

Iphone 15 is cheapest device with this tech.
Also , imx888 is still inside 1vi. Zero chance phone that costs 1/3 would have same cmos
