The working standards are sht in countries like Vietnam and China and Apple, Addidas or anyone else doesn't give a sht about that as long as it's cheap, the first iphones were made by exploited kids. The only thing that changes is the brand and it's image, Apple is a famous brand and that's the reason you'll go buy an iphone, not cause they rephrased "made in china" into "assembled in china" to fool an average Joe. Foxconn that assembles the iphones and does all the quality control for them, assembles for Xiaomi and most Android brands, and does the same quality control for them too, it's not like apple is paying them more to do a better job.

    Jango5, 07 May 2024it's just another way to put "made in china"... moreadidas is produced in Vietnam but, this doesn't mean a Vietnamese brand can produce the same quality or sell the same price. it is not all about bringing the parts together. it is all about the standards, knowhow and aftersales experience behind a product.

        yalim, 07 May 2024they are assembled in China. there is a difference.it's just another way to put "made in china", nothing is made in the usa for sure, apple uses chips from Taiwan, screens from Korea and China and so on. Nothing different than any other phone manufacturer, everyone outsources different parts from different country and assemble in it China, even Xiaomi uses chips from TSMC (Taiwan), Screens from Samsung(Korea) cameras from Sony (Japan) and the phone is just assembled in China, yet you still see a mad in china on it.
