Everyone’s calling the switch weak, but it’s actually a great console. 3rd party developers just haven’t been putting in the effort to make their games run well on it. Nintendo first party games look great (except for Pokémon), and Splatoon 3 looks better than most ps5 games and still runs at 60fps.

I wonder how fast a midrange smartphone chip would be compared to the switch’s processor. Maybe Nintendo could make the switch 2 have a snapdragon 6 or 7 series

Lol, the worst console of all time, sells 141 millions, it's kind of sums up human race 🤣 there is nothing to play on it, it's super weak, and unusable on TV. And successor will be already outdated before it's even launched. Great job Nintendo 🤣

It's heavy and bulky, and it has mediocre battery life. Also, obviously you can't play Switch games natively on the Steam Deck.

They hardly get 1080p@120 hz and you want 4070 laptop? that alone is like 140-150W part and 13700hx? that is another 140-150w part. How the hell you want cool them? How you gonna provide them with power?
you might get 16GB ram but not ldppr6 (lpddr6 is what you want instead of whatever that you said is) the 512GB storage is possible but than you ask for a device well over $300 which imho gonna be the target for switch 2/pro even if it gets to $500 still you cant make that happen!

Developers understand that if the amount of unified RAM is 8 GB, the combined RAM usage for graphics and non-graphics components can't exceed 8 GB. Developers can fine-tune RAM usage however they want; they write the code.

If you use too much of U-ram for system ram than there is none left for V-ram and visa versa!
having fixed amount ram is good as developer knows it's boundaries but than again you can't push past of them.
Both solutions need fine tuning.
