Well its expected since its using a rather small battery, 10000mah on a 12.4" display no wonder it wont last long, the usual 10000mah on the usual 10.1" is already pretty much small
On that note the tab active 5 with the small 5050mah is a whole dimensionally better since its removable and the tab can be operated without the battery, one thing that never be accomplished by this chinese manufacturer

pl2rts, 08 May 2024Something is really wrong with the tablet if it eats batter... moreNothing is wrong with it. "Optimization" is not the main issue here. Redmi Pad SE and Honor Pad X9 use the way slower chipset compared to the rest of the comparison, ofc it's better for battery life.
Sometimes people always think that fabrication size is the only thing that makes a processor consumers less battery life, while CPU clockspeed also matters. There's a reason why many low-end smartphones has similar battery life compared to flagship phone, despites having a bigger fabrication.

pl2rts, 08 May 2024Something is really wrong with the tablet if it eats batter... moreSmaller tablets usually have displays with lower PPI. Then again, the Mi Pad 6S Pro seems to have good battery life especially when compared to the Tab S9 Ultra with bigger battery and supposedly more efficient OLED display.

Something is really wrong with the tablet if it eats battery so much. The bigger the battery seems to be then the less time you can use the tablet. For some reason smaller battery tablets last longer with their full battery as it seems these tablets are better optimized on using battery power
