Android world has poor tablet choices. High end it's expensive like Samsung, you do get Oled and Snapdragon almost flagship chipsets but they also cost like iPads, or more. When you have budget shitty Android tablets with awful chipsets and software support. In this regard regarding speed iPad with 60hz screens destroys Android tablets. And actually you can play console games on iPads, cannot do that on Android tablets.

Even when being idle and ... moreThat's the problem with these crappy CPUs, running anything (modern) on them is like trying to physically run when you are terribly out of shape. Even my lightweight browser game lags horribly on my SD425 phone, although this might be due to browser overhead.
I know my demands for a tablet are larger than that for a phone. I've pushed the A12 hard in my current iPad when doing a video call while taking notes with my Apple Pencil. I don't trust a crappy SoC to meet this demand, which is why I only want to get midrange to premium tablets in the future. Unfortunately, none of them come with more than 1 port or a headphone jack...

Even when being idle and it close the browser as goes to desktop mode and then when i open up the browser again it takes like 20 seconds to load a page that was already loaded anyways.
I didnt buy this tablet as it was my brother who bought it 6 years ago and he use it like half a year and left it to collect dust for few years and then give it to me. Cause he was also mad that it was too slow and unusable
The only use this thing finds in my hand is to read manhua/manhwa on it as these comics are serious mouse scroller killer on PC.
To be honest i dont understand these so low end tablets point when they are already painfully slow on release

Ev... moreI'm curious, how did you live with a tablet with such a crappy SoC for so long? I have an old phone with that SoC, and it doesn't have much to face: Android 6 and a 852x480 display. Yet that phone is horribly laggy when trying to do just about anything. Wait, maybe it was the 870MB RAM and 800MB free storage available.
I also have a phone with a SD632 and stock Android that is still horribly laggy for the first couple minutes of use.

This is a joke. My tablet has a 1 TB storage + microSD up to 1 TB. No one can survive with about 35 gigs of storage when most apps take up hundreds of MB just to install + gigabytes of internal storage.

Ev... moreM-series have more overall power than A-series.
With more overall/raw power to use in the long run, M-series will fare better than A-series. I'm not saying one would outlast the other in terms of durability. In terms of software, which gets more demanding every release, it will prevail.

That price should be for WiFi 256GB. 64GB internal storage really doesn't make sense anymore.

I think it’s still a bad idea to buy it right now because in a few weeks refurbished iPad prices will most likely start to drop and you could be able to get it for less than $300

Even my Lenovo 10 inch screen SD425 from year 2018 with Android 8.1 have lasted me for 6 years and still works even tough battery is pretty much in the end of it's life.
