                I do like the look of this one maybe I will return to Sony after a long hiatus, gave up with them when they stitched the customers up with the L4

                  Glad they retained the normal 21:9 aspect ratio lol. If you guys don't like 21:9, thick bar on top and bottom, and 6 Gen 1 just move to another brand lol. Let us enjoy our peace. We don't want Sony to become another useless thick brick by moving on to inferior aspect ratio or ditching that symetrical bezel.

                      Weaker chip probably heat more cause it be more time under higher load from the apps.
                      I would imagine that the apps dont need to run full load on the better performing chips while they need on the lower performing chips

                      Never mind that the cooling is hard in the tight space full of heat sources all over the place.
                      Like battery heat up on charging and so on

                          Comparing charging speed in midrangers at similar price lok like that:

                          Brand A: 45w, 0-100% in 60min
                          Brand B: 67w, 0-100% in 45min
                          Sony 10: yes

                            All the cores and stuff have got so complicated that i dont understand them at all anymore.
                            I use to understand when it was like dual core or quad core but now there is like 8/12/16 and so on.

                            And what do you mean not really a flagship ship for SD7+ gen 2 or 3 ? These also have the flagship cores with same code names with slower clock speeds only and downgraded GPU. 7+ gen 2 was basically like 8+ gen 1 as downgraded and at the time of it's release it was performing like flagship chip

                            Never mind that flagship chips in time drop to be a top middle class and then middle class and more time goes by and be budget class with all the renaming and rebranding they do

D7200 is like sd 695 with newer architecture and manufacturing process and 7 gen 3 is like 778G with newer architecture and manufacturing process, all these soc don't have cortex X series core.

                              Soc like 7+ Gen 2, have cortex X2 which use way more power, while it's not as much as flagship soc but still it's easy to reach 7 or 8W at peak.

                              Not just that 7+ had cortex A510 and A710 cores which regress efficient wise compare to A55 and A78 while D7200 and 7 gen 3 use A715 which is slightly better than A78.

                              Only A720/A520 based soc will have better battery life and efficiency than 7 gen 3 and D7200 based soc.

                                  My point is that if you don't like the black bars at the top and bottom, why do you bother about Xperias, specially since you don't even love Sony since so long? You have literally every other phone on the planet that comes without bezels. You can happily use them, but you want the last phone remaining without a notch or a hole on the display to also get that notch or hole! Why? Just why? You have so many options and we should have none?

                                    Realme 12 Pro, Honor Magic 6 Lite and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. All arrived in Europe for at least €400 with this SoC. ( 50 Fusion has its overclocked version called 7sg2)

                                        I dont know what is zenfone... I only criticise top an bottom horrible black borders like phones from 2015
