Also there's now way this device comes even close to Pixel 8 which can be picked at similar price,HMD is good at making budget devices but will need something better to challenge in the premium segment

The Nokia... moreIn 2019 i bought A70 over Nokia and its the best budget phone Samsung ever made.
Currently using S22 Ultra right now with Galaxy Watch 4 classic 46mm. Seeing these Nokia prices making me laugh with poor performances.
Wether its HMD or not HMD, phone is phone, not destroying after unbox.

I love the XR21. Such a great durable phone and used it for my adventures in Mexico and Sri Lanka to take into the centoes pools and swimming. It takes everything I put at it.
It's such a shame to find they're not upgrading the processor or RAM. I just find with all the apps I have , it can struggle at times.
It has eSim support and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Please please HMD makes this phone more powerful without adding an OLED screen.

The Nokia... moreI also never owned a HMD phone even from start when they were decent.
At the time i got Redmi note 5 Ai Dual Cam for 170 euro and same specs from HMD was something 330 euro so to have just 1-2 more updates is not worth the 2 phone price just from the brand i have had the most phones from. I am not rich to spend my money without thinking on what i spend it on. These prices never made sense to me as they didnt give anything special for it. For 300 euro i would of got SD845 with Pocophone F1 at the same time. Well few months later then i got the note 5 and then i was not so happy for a while but faced with the reality that i needed a phone so i had no choice to wait. Also it was the start of experiminting on buying a phone from China on entry level as i had some Leagu phone before it what was 90 euro and that made me understand that the quality was good enough to go with a bit more expensive and 170 euro for 3/32GB on that Redmi note 5 ai dual cam was good enough. As it lasted me for 5 years no problems other then being slow from start but as expected on the price range i got it still did it's job well.
I dont need to own trash to know what trash is

The Nokia 8 retailed at the MRSP of $550 at launch, and that price is unmatched to date on any flagship with a Snapdragon 8 series chipset at launch, and 3 years of updates when the closest competitors offered 2 years of cumulative updates (Galaxy S8, OnePlus 5, Nubia Z17 and HTC U11). By that metric, the A70 is a mediocre phone with a feeble chipset and a higher starting MRSP ($650 to be precise) in comparison to the SD835 on the Nokia 8. The A70 dropped to roughly $350 or less after it became completely obsolete with the older update policy Samsung offered until the x2 series of phones. Also it's self-explanatory why Nokia featured a 16:9 display, MicroSD slot and a 3.5mm jack for their customers.
Also by your comment, I can understand you've never used a phone from HMD. Nice try on an attempt to convince they're far worse than the mediocre set of slabs released under the Microsoft branding.
