Would like to say even google chrome or explorer or microsoft edge is better.
If we exclude most secure brownser available for downlaod which is TOR then the opera could be second along with Avast Antivirus brownser.

Opera is not a good browser, the only good browser against ads and tracking is mozilla firefox, the later also has containers on pc/mac that separate cookies from eachother, ex. Amazons cookies are isolated in containers and amazon cannot spy on you what you do on other sites, or facebook, especially facebook. Also adguard is one of the better adblockers and tracking blockers, and can be installed on any known browser. I haven't seen ads on my computer or mobile device since i use technology, more then 25 years now. On my mobile device i use rethinkDNS to block google apps from accessing the internet and force DNS throughout my own dns resolver on NextDNS. Another good dns based ad blocking. For youtube on mobile always newpipe, the best their is.

Any platform (social network) having such a huge pool of active users will try to capitalize it.
It would be a question of days when they will start flooding you with ads.
Time to get more players in the game and competition always yield best to the consumer. Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch...Facebook videos, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos...I'm ready for something new.

NeonHD, 17 May 2024China also has tiktok, but the content is likely less idiotic.As far as i know, there are no idiotic videos allowed in china, because of obvious reasons, yet they do not want to comply with US requests to take down garbage as soon as possible, of course they do not want to do that, first because of money, second because with moronic videos they hold control power over the brainless mass.

Would support TikTok than Google. It's made by people, for the people. The only thing is that YouTube is MASSIVE and has been in the game for about 2 decades. Getting content creators to switch will be hard. Seriously hope they don't pull a Mixer*.
*Mixer was a streaming service that was made by MicroSoft to compete with Twitch. MicroSoft gave a couple of streamers to switch to Mixer. But they MOVED back to Twitch AND took the money with them, lmao. They failed they could not compete with Twitch. If you want a slice of the pie, do it right than just grabbing it.

Good, I'll move immediately and as a bonus will probably switch from Instagram to tiktok for short reels. Hate evil empire of Google (and a Instagram is also annoying)
