Kantar: Android dominates EU, WP closes gap to iOS

Apple's iOS is going strong in the US with 41.9% market share, but loses ground elsewhere.

You can see that the only countries where WP rose are the ones where Symbian was strong and lost almost all its market share. Since Symbian means Nokia, current WP users are just Nokia users that bought another Nokia (with WP).
And please note that only a fraction of those users bought a WP phone, some of them probably bought an iphone or android phone. So, since there are almost no Symbian users left, I doubt that WP will grow significantly anymore.

          A smartphone that will at some point surely give you a robot lying down with open guts and an exclamation mark inside a red triangle, shouldn't be called a "smartphone".

            Is Kantar tendentious? Why is iOS on top in all of the charts? It shouldn't be if you look at the percentages..

                          It's good that android is doing so well because it benefits far more companies than thethe likes of ios or windows phone (which is almost all Nokia)
