Those analysts are useless, they create bad publicity and create more fanboys. I remember when they said samsung was losing profit and marketshare, then all the fanboys believed it and laughed at samsung. When in reality, samsung is earning more profit in 2013 compared to 2012.

Samsung are producing great innovative products with very impressive support. Android has topped the charts thanks to samsung. NOw, with the windows 8-android combo device/s samsung will surely help microsoft with its windows 8 platform in tablets, pc's and even mobile smart phones. Samsung are doing a great job. They deserve it.

And yes, iphone5 when launches was about 48k, and now you get it for 42k.
and once iphone5s comes out, iphone5 will be priced at 36k.
so its just the way pricing goes, older models need to be phased out. but no company will sell it at a loss. they always sell it at good margins.

Go on bashers and haters. Keep bashing and hating Sammy. As if Sammy cares! If you don't like their product, don't buy it. If you don't have anything good to say, then shut your mouth. Simple as that! Whether you like it or not, Samsung is here to stay and lead. Beat that!

To be honest, my first phone was Samsung GT C3010, then it was C3200, then it is Galaxy Y. I threw my C3010 due to my anger caused by C3010(lags, hangs, restarting issue) and it broke, then i broke it even more and threw it in a dumpyard. With Samsung C3200, after using it for a year, it had a bug, whenever someone was calling me, my phone was getting switched off automatically and one day it stopped working(switching on). Now, i have a Samsung Galaxy Y which hangs frequently, gets heated up if using constantly, battery drains very quickly, most of the games don't work, sometimes restarts occur and SwiftKey crashes after using it for 2 hours. I'm never going to buy a Samsung phone ever. The s/w on Samsung phones aren't well optimized. Here i come Nokia and Windows.

1. This is Samsungs OVERALL profit, not just on Phones. They also sell tv's, dvd players, laptops, tablets, accessories.......need I go on?
2. You can still hit a RECORD and underperform on expectation. They aren't mutually exclusive concepts. Samsung knew they would get a new record but have appeared to have predicted more than they actually made. Still $8.33Billion in 3 months is not too shabby!

Stock shares are going down at the moment a lot, because samsung couldn't beat the estimate numbers
Yesterday Apple beat samsung in their own home country, Apple won satisfaction customer poll.
Not very good week for samsung i say.
