Hi guys, don't expect full HD resolution. Its gonna be 720p resolution nly. Camera s good. Only disadvantage s the lack of apps. I have been using lumia 820. It s good in many wys. No lag at all while opening apps,playing videos, even games. Same was not true with my samsung galaxy s3. So 1020 should be a best buy if priced below 35000.

Microsoft decides which cpu, RAM, storage options etc... are available/compatible with Windows Phone. HTC, Samsung, Nokia and LG can only diversy their products through additional apps. With the Lumia 1020 Nokia got a one time break to sell 808 Pureview technology with WP8. But Microsoft has the final say in the hardware compatibility. Keep in mind that THIS phone requires a "special" Nokia developed Camera app. Which means this phone might not do the same with e.g. Skydrive integration than the normal camera app which doesn't work on this phone!

How naive some people can be. Again Microsoft tells the manufacturers which hardware will work with WP and to which restrictions they MUST adhere. Microsoft was lenient this time with regards to the camera. But this means that the usual WP-camera-app will NOT work. This also means that IF Nokia should integrate FM-transmitter into Lumia they must write the software for it themselves. Which might be very difficult as long as they don't have the source code of WP which they DON'T! Microsoft must provide the API's to Nokia for tapping into the WP-audio subsystems. If they don't provide these then it's bye bye FM-transmitter or FM-radio (or whatever audio feature you'd want).

Better design, in line with the Xperia Z family, better OS-this is subjective though, but for sure better internals as the 1080 will not have a Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330, but an ARM 7 Snapdragon 400 with Adreno 305, and 1080p screen for Honami while the 1020 will have a 768p screen.

Offine therefore it is free. Free means no expense from the user. Thats half of the total value of what other phone companies can offer.

Hi Nokia. I buy nokia bcoz i trust it for years ago.
The current state of nokia is too bad. First of all, nokia should consider Symbian again and remove Windows. It doesn't feel comfortable.
Develop old Symbian again. Produce high-end devices with considerable price tag.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, Only consider symbian. Develops its ui to maximum to attract buyers. And i bet if nokia do this, they will be world leader again.
There's only one option other than this for nokia. Develop android with nokia customised ui.
TO NOKIA. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT...
