it seems like Moto has done the R&D in Vietnam and manufacture them in the US. For me there is no way that moto can offer $299 if the phone is being made in USA.

The specs on this phone are old/cheap and I agree the price is a little high for what it is. For the same price you can get the better Nexus 4, despite the fact that it's older. Also, in Europe it's gonna be 299/349 euro? The Xperia SP costs less, and it brings a bigger battery and sd slot to the table.

Use your mind they are selling it 50$ cheaper you get 16GB nexus 4 for 350$ and this for 300$ but I think this phone has 4.3" screen look its not tha bigger then iphone 5

Google bashes Moto hardware and then releases a collection of mostly 1-2 year old stuff at the same price as their current quadcore.
And wasn't this supposed to have hardware customization options? I'll take one with microHDMI-out and an SDslot, please.

Is Motorola joking a 1.2 Dual Core Processor Flagship and the price? I would buy the Nexus 4 after all this AINT Windows 8 even the BIG Samsung HTC Nokia used 1.5 dual core processors for Flagship even Apple yet Nexus 5 LG G2 Note 3 even I Phone 5S coming soon shame Motorola you need something to compete on a better level

This is totally a crappy phone. Why the mic have to be on all the day? It's worth only $150 for the 16 GB one and $200 for the 32 GB one. This has a dual core processor? Android OS is so resource hungry that on a dual core, the OS can't run smoothly. The kid is fast but today's phones, especially Google owned Motorola phones and Samsung mid range phones are really slow.

Yes we all know the announcement/release of the Moto X is just around the corner but why use a 3 to 4 month old video of the rumored X phone. Yes it might look similar to the final product but there must have been a few adjustments since that video was outed some months ago. Either way it will be a very good device(even tho not a quadcore) capable of doing everything you throw at it. Being a dual core should not stop anyone from getting this device..besides the low price should be enuf to make that decision easier for everyone. For a 4.7" screen device that baby looks like it fits like a glove in hand..easier for one handed use.

It looks exactly the same as the nexus from last year. You got to be kidding me. Lol! This is just ridiculous. But I do like the fact that a good phone is priced that low without contract. I will probably buy it as a 2nd phone. Wonder if you could use this as a tablet in the mobile share plan from Att.

Hope it comes wid decent memory unlike nexus 4.What made google not to give memory slot(in nexus 4).It would be cheaper than providing internal memory
