I don't have to screw around with the battery door or even turn off the phone, which is inevitable when switching battery. Just plug it in.

BB10 OS is nothing but a cheap copy of MeeGo OS. Shame on BB. They are copy cats, just like Samsung.

This battery is like two and third of z10 battery, so you won't need a secound battery. It's almost 3 z10 battery.

It may surprise you, but some people go places where they can't charge up and are heavy phone users. So having a backup battery (or in my case, 2 backup batteries charged and ready to go) is important. After all, what's the downside to making the battery removable on this phone? The back is not sealed and already removable.
P.S. My current phone is a Z10 and before that a Samsung S3 so your "only buy old things because you're poor" comment is presumptuous nonsense. For you to reply to that guy in the way you did was flat out inappropriate.

power pack GPU? how can you use a high end gpu when all the games in BB OS can run smoothly on low end gpu? they dont have a high end games,, even a good 3d hd games. you cant maximize the power of GPU.. bad BB

I would love to buy a blackberry again and 5 inch screen with 2800 battery sounds convincing but I detest the operating system. Gestures, left to see news feeds, like who cares. Simplicity is was runs this high rate technology era we live in.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2013non-removable battery is a very big mistake.in your opinion maybe, because you are a 3rd or 5th hand customer. you buy only old things because you are poor,that's why you are very interested to remove the battery at a 4-5 years old mobile phone. for me, as a customer wich buys only brand new mobiles, i prefer non removable battery because design is better. in a lifetime of a mobile phone you'll maybe need once to change the battery,after 4-5 years of hard use. no big deal indeed
