then we in our single core devices will never get an update even though our single cores can run the newest android version just fine (if the phone is debloated)

The good thing about android is that you can customize almost anything. When you get tired of your UI (which you will eventually), you can change it to whatever you like. You can't do that with IOS and WP8. If they can make WP8 a little more open, then maybe I'll check it out.

I'm not happy about being forced to use hangouts. I'm not on google+ and have no intention to be on it. I get that you can do video conferencing and all that good stuff but I'm not happy about this. Not sure I will accept the update unless hangouts can be undone.

We Get All these Updates,but we never seem to the Function we want on Android,the "Exit" feature so when you have finished using a Application,it is the Stopped running once you press the Exit Button,this is Why with Symbian you knew you could easily get 3-5 days with charging your phone,but with Android you are charging your phone nearly ever day,an can only really get 1-2 days without charging you phone an becomes very costly running a Android phone

ICS was radical and new, JB was ICS updated, and now there's patches.
remember that iOS lookes the same for 7 versions, and is only getting a redesign now.
