My NEXT phone will not be Samsung. Galaxy S3 should be second from S4 that gets latest updates. And please fix that crapy Touchwiz that laging contacts all the time...

I'll wait for the changelog or feedback at least.
sometimes, updates does not improve the performance. I'm good with 4.1.

proud owner of Samsung products. my dvd, tv, ac, etc are all Samsung. I bought s2 (i9100), n believe u me I have never regretted buying it.i can play or install any available android app or game.i went from gb to ic to jb (4.1.2) nw d legendary sammy wants to gv me jb (4.2.2), wot more can I say . Samsung Mobile, u stands to b rivaled. my s2 is d only flagship phone from 2011 dat stands d chance of receiving 4.2.2. sammmmmmmmssssszuuuuuunnnnnnngggggg! u r d greatest no doubt. upgrading to s4 in about 6 months time . Thank you for remembering my gt-i9100

honestly im impressed .my s2 lived its 2 year contract lifespan withouth being left behind

We want 4.2 ... moreBe patient, I also own the gs3 mini and it will be updated to 4.2, its in the list of the devices tha will be updated. It's also the first Samsung device that came out of the box with android 4.1 so don't worry!

It runs fine on my TCL Idol X phone, Samsung SGS4 and Nexus 10 tablet. And i know it has hiccups with devices with 1gb ram, i had S3, performance wasn't totally smooth for multitasking. I commented about S3 having only 1gb ram when released, people said 2gb what for in that time... The more ram you get on a device, as you can see the more OS version it can support. It's same logic for PC.
