Interesting. Now Apple has adopted Samsung's way of marketing. Having a range of cheap and expensive devices really boost earnings.

Since that this is a CHEAP iphone, I wonder what the specs would be if the iphone 5 itself has been lagging years behind Droids:
1. Dual core cpu with only 1.3 Ghz vs. Quad core or octa core cpu with 2 Ghz with the latest Droids.
2. Retina display of only 326 ppi vs. 469 ppi pixel density.
3. 1GB RAM vs. 2GB RAM
4. Outdated 4 inch screen against over 5 inch screen.
5. No NFC support.
6. Battery capacity of only 1440 mAh vs. Over 3000 mAh.
Surely the CHEAP iphone will never have the same or even greater specs than iphone 5.

And about the leaks, learn from history as well. Do you remember the aluminum prototypes for iphone 5 leaked 6 to 8 months before the official iphone 5 release? Evreryone is saying that is NOT the next iphone. It turned out to be true.

This 5c isn't exactly cheap...$490...i could get a very capable android or lumia for less...

I will just upgrade if theres a major change in the design, mainly bigger screen. I wont upgrade to an android device because i really like iOS and its ease of use, and i have a mac and ipad which icloud works seamlessly with. Android will just mess my sync with all devices up. also, i want a bigger phone than 4 inch... maybe 4'5 or 4'7 iphone. that would be nice and awesome in my opinion.

Apple make the phone. So up until APPLE say WES WE WILL MAKE THE LAME IPHONE 5c wich is still expensive is still a RUMOR. No matter how many picture surfaces from unknown people NOT CONFIRM FROM THE MAKER.

Nowadays Android OS is much better than iOS. So, even if apple release cheap phones, the android devices are much better in specifications of hardware and in software with android. I remember when steve jobs said that android was for porno viewers hehhe, now android is BETTER than his phone iphone.

Gsmarena sure is wrong. They repeatedly say that cheaper plastic iphones wont happen for sure. It is now getting more likely to happen with a probability of 90%, with the leaks getting more frequent.

1st Gen = iPhone 2G (First iphone)
2nd Gen = iPhone 3G
3rd Gen = iPhone 3GS
4th Gen= iPhone 4
5th Gen = iPhone 4S
6th Gen = iPhone 5
7th Gen = New iphone released next month, either iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C.

1 = OG
2 = 3G, 3GS
3 = 4, 4S
4 = 5 (!)
5 (ie this shot) = 5s (or 6 - or as I believe, "The New iPhone")
