finally GooGle listened.. i mean they own a mobile phone company, why not funnel their products through it. its logical. They no longer need to force other manufacturers to offer top parts and low cost, they can do it themselves and this will bring up Moto (once giant) back to the near top cuz if they push nexus devices the thought of never being left out of updates is appealing to the mASSes....

I hope there will be 16GB/32GB versions with MICROSD but no removable back. NO Capacitive Buttons. 3GB Ram, Better Low Light Camera 13MP. That kind of stuff!

I expect this is the global version of the USA Moto X. Words of advice it must be better than previous nexus.

Anything created by google/xxx means no slots, no battery removable, no internal storage.

Totally not worth it, and cheap for poor men.

AnonD-174619, 12 Aug 2013Please note that there is not any difference between a 1.7 ... morethen lets go for single core which will consume even less power n also the performance difference between a single core n a dual core is negligible??!!! how about 1.5ghz single core cpu??? companies r switching to quad cores coz they r future proof n will get future upgrades unlike dual cores which will stuck to jelly bean 4.2 max(some are stucked even in 4.1)... we need phones that can run android 5.0 n further, we just dont wanna get stucked in jelly bean in future...
about battery consumption, the recent cortex A15 architecture consumes less power than any other cortexA9/A7 coz the cores are managed accordingly its not necessary that every dual core is power efficient in front of quad core n also performance difference between a quad core n a dual core is way high... compare snapdragon 800 with any dual core, ur eyes will show u what is the difference in performance...
