It kind of scares me that having "iron man" as the salesman makes a difference to anyone. And the S3, while I consider it the worst phone I have ever owned ever period at all ever, wasn't fragile. In a seido case (which I put in everything I own) it survived many falls.

Screen size was a big factor in me getting the note 3. But based on my complete and utter hatred of the S3 I would never have considered anything from Samsung except a buddy got a Galaxy S4 and it solved most of the problems I had with the S3. I had another friend with a Note 2 that had all the problems that the s3 had, so I gambled that the Note 3 would be like the S4 and I was right, so far it is turning out to be a great phone.

Hope HTC gets its camara right this time. The best was HTC Incredible - so old now, but still produces the best photo colors.

HTC Sensation - awful awful photo colors. Sent the unit back to HTC Taiwan and they couldn't rectify the problem. Red and yellow were overly saturated. Photos under yellow lighting - oh, totally fail! So yellowish and orangy.

HTC One X - Too yellowish evn under daylight lighting. Only outdoor daylight the photos are oK..yup, OK only cosidering this was not a cheapie phone.

HTC One - No matter how I adjust the settings, the colors are off. Grass is yellowish even during early morning light. Under yellow lighting - totally fail. Too yellow.

HTC One Max - the Boom sound SOUNDS interesting. The camera man! I am still using the Incredible for its natural and beautiful colors especially under yellow lighting. Downside is the photos are not as sharp as all the above later flagships.

AnonD-126854, 14 Aug 2013Marketing will not help HTC if they don't stop with this se... moredude marketing is the key, samsung has became a household name with there good marketing and selling techniques, people like you are unidirectional go for samsung, why doesn't samsung make new design phones, every phone has same design, same plastic, not even worth of a flagship..check the rating given to HTC one it is around 8.1 and what about s4 around 6.5 lol, and you still buy s4 so this is your problem not htc's..they are doing there best and even delivered as well in Htc one, so don't say samsung is this and that..try to appreciate others work as well

Where is 64gb?, 15 Aug 2013One big problem. You have enough storage to handle the 4... moreI made a total of 1019 pictures and videos in 7 months using 808 pureview, and most of them are 38 mp, 8 mp and 5 mp photos and some 1080p, 720p videos. And all these photos and videos take up only 12 GB space. 1000 photos of about 10 mb each take up only 10 GB space. But if you want you can use oversampled 5 mp photos that are noiseless and look crystal clear and are small size.

I store pictures on my computer not on social sites but even some social sites allow high resolution photos or you can upload cropped parts of the photos, with just your face taken from the picture.

If I take a picture from far away I use 38 mp so I can later zoom and see all the details, but if I take a close-up picture I use 8 mp or 5 mp.
So the 38 mp is very useful when taking pictures with a group of friends, later you can zoom and see each one's face.

Loved it! I used to be an HTC fan, now I'm using S4. Still, I'm very happy to see HTC going fun!

You have enough storage to handle the 41MP picture??

All these meaningless MP wars and camera specs ... shh.. in the end you will store in social sites that butcher the quality anyway.

What important is there should be a balance between storage and quality.

This phone better come with 128gb and a decent camera, else its another giant shame of 2013.

I hope they keep the untrapixel camera; all reviews have shown it to be on par or superior to other flagship phones' cameras.

AnonD-3605, 14 Aug 2013i like reading posts like yours it make me laugh every time... moreWhen you take a picture with your girlfriend, do you want to see her face made only from a few noisy pixels? Or do you want to perfectly see her face, her eyes, her lips etc.
With a 41 mp picture you can, look at this girl's eyes and lips in this low light image:
                                http://press.nokia.com/wp-content/uploads/mediaplugin/photo/nokia-lumia-1020-pro-highres-3.jpg
Also 41 mp allows for noiseless crystal clear 5 mp photos (by oversampling), 4x lossless zoom when taking 5 mp pictures, 6x lossless zoom when recording 720p videos and more.

In therms of detail levels, which do matter actually, the 4MP module isn't worth its salt.

stop looking on the stupid comparison and start thinking of the realworld use and performance . there is no need in the phone to capture a 5246589464 MP picture . the picture should be vivid accurate and look awesome on the screen and on your pc . sure if you take and 4mp pic even from a professional camera and stretch it like they do in those comparisons you will get creepy and crappy quality . but this "quality" is not the thing should be in your pocket . vividness and sharpness . all the zooming in its all bullcrap and dont matter at all .
