The hard part is to use brand new technologies that nobody else has.
Maybe, after all the Note 3 talk, Apple may be the only company to be able to reliably produce 5" screens that are flexible screens. Redo the entire design of the iPhone and give it truly All day battery life.
This is something not possible today. Maybe Apple is doing things at the right time; when it makes more sense and until he finds technology that nobody else is using and they can mass produce.
Bigger iphone is coming, but the technology now isn't what they want. They're waiting for the technology to catch up.

The only problem with this colored plated when it got scratched or has dents will it leave a silver discoloring just like iphone5.

One of my cousin works for apple in Canada and he has pics of the 5S ,5C and iPad 5
5S will be coloured golden and white and it will have dual led flash
5C will be plastic but well built
And iPad 5 will be 22% lighter and based on iPad mini's design !
