Nokia's Navteq or HERE division has to compete with Google maps too. WP8 is already super stable OS compares to Android. Great for enterprise and corporation. They only need to add more features or apps.

Quad core on WP8 going to run like 16 cores on Android. Dual core on WP8 is already lag free.

Maybe Nokia is jumping ship. They might have android or sailfish in mind. Backup plan when Microsoft is not delivering.

there are two major reasons apple lost to droid.14% marketshares versus 79% market shares. 1st not all people can afford the expensive iphones. many people are turning to droid for the sake of free tons of apps that apple has(apple has make a change by creating iphone 5c to aim lower segment market). 2nd apple failed to compete in higher segment area with samsung.apple screen is mainly produced by LG which is LG themselve lose their screen to samsung. And the worst of all is that apple has small screen,no microsd card, n non replaceable battery, no stylus.If iphone5s can have the spec of NOTE3 with samsung samoled iam quite sure it will be more salable. As for nokia if this spec is going for the next flagship your only problem is your OS nothing else.

i want a 6 inch nokia paplet with s800. and wp8 because it has office. it will be great for business and its secure. also a full hd display plz. i dont care of price. i want a phone that last a decade.

Don't be a late bloomer. There is already 7inch Windows 8 tablet. I don't see you have a problem produding w 6 inch Windows 8 phablet. I don't want windows phone 8 phablet. Got it. I want a phablet that has a PC and LAPTOP capabilities with extra calling capability.

Well! If confirmed 800 Snapdragon with Adreno 330 nokia finally have a chance to get out of this hole that currently! But the screen size would be 4.8" or 5" HD or Full HD, whatever. At least the graphics performance and CPU will be great! Only the lack of a camera with the same Lumia 925, Only better, type 13MP.

Mobile are brought for 2years by majority. So manufacture have to see how big the market place or features can be their in next two year period.
Dual core is introduce last year. That mean people who buy 920 in first lot will need next flagship next year. And the market place is increasing very fast including the new features. And they need more powerful processor to bring device OS compatible to update with newer phones(for example wp7 is not upgraded to wp8. It might because wp7 devices don´t match spec for WP8. This is why Nokia is trying to bring more powerful device than it need so that next update can be put in older flagships and their performance remain smooth) . So Nokia is trying to bring quad core WP so that if buyer buy in Q1 of 2014, it perform excellent until 2016.
