HTC unveils the Desire 601 and Desire 300

Just a guess. Desire 300 will be priced around 13.5K competing against galaxy core, xperia m. Desire 601 will be priced around 19K competing against galaxy grand, xperia sp and xperia L . In both cases Specs wise galaxy and xperia will beat desire. If priced aggressively to improve market share in India, it will be a success else HTC will be a disaster. Waiting for the phone to be officially launched in India. Price is the factor.

2100 mah on quad core last a 24h with heavy use!!

yep that's logical, having more megapixels, a bigger resolution on your cheaper phones. HTC went from.VGA > 1mp > 2mp > 3mp > 5mp > 8mp > 16mp (titan 2) > 4mp (ultra)
