They track everything you do, where you go, what you buy, what you do online to target you with certain ads as well as learn your behaviors... and you are suddenly worried about your fingerprint now?
I'm sure Microsoft and Apple do the same forms of tracking, but also consider: Your foot print when you are born, blood type, drivers license photo and sometimes thumbprint, security cameras, dental records, military DNA records, etc...
If you are really that worried about using your finger print on a smartphone, you probably shouldn't have a smartphone.

I thought there would be something interesting, sumthing new..... But all we got is same garbage with new name.... Hell this is a Rotten Apple 4 sure.
Other brands like Samsung, LG really does innovation and excites the consumer :)

Today's announcement by Apple shows they're a boat without direction.
Their pricing strategy makes ZERO sense and will hurt their sales on the 5c model.
$199 on-contract gets you the 16GB 5s, while $199 on-contract will get you the 32GB 5c, or $99 on-contract will get you the 16GB 5c.
Apparently Apple didn't take the time to understand that in the markets they're most excited about for growth (China, India and Asia in general) that most the users are on pre-paid, non-contract plans.
It's also apparent that Tim Cook's Market Research department was too busy helping out the developers fix the bugs in ios 7 to understand that the local manufacturers in China and India are now producing phones with better quality and features since Apple's iphone 5(that's all I've got, because I can't explain how such a huge oversight could be made within Apple).
If I look at all the above, the only thing that makes sense is Apple is depending upon the fallacy that their phones are still premium products and people will pay a premium for that Apple logo.
Oh, and fanboys, before you start pointing to the problems with other phones, you should educate yourself and realize that Apple has all the same issues. Here's a place for you to start...

There are plenty of articles out there about the malware and virus' in ios and the mac platform as well. The thing is Apple's P.R. department does a much better job burying this type of news with misinformation than others. (Maybe some of them should apply for jobs in Apple's Market Research department.)
