This phone LTE bands is designed for ITU Region 2 meaning unless your North/South America then no LTE. In Australia you would avoid this phone as LTE is covering all major markets with little investment in HSPA/GSM technology.

So this basically means we could import this phone to Europe and it would work with all GSM networks here, including UMTS/3G (all required frequencies are supported by this model). The only problem is with LTE but LTE is so undeveloped here that this wouldn't matter.

And now the biggest problem: Motorola is not shipping this to Europe.

what is the difference for the average user between this and the restricted carrier versions. Not being able to order a customised version outside of those carriers is so annoying. Oh well, could be awhile. ill look elsewhere I guess.

All phones should be developer editions. The bootloader thing is a scam.
