Android 4.3 update for HTC One now rolling out internationally

AnonD-365901, 20 Feb 2015I received my 4.3 update last week in New Jersey, USA and l... more...i actually just figured the 2 finger zoom out. I needed to make the subject wider by spreading my fingers apart and it worked. what I was doing incorrect was the 2 finger pinch which was trying to make the subject smaller and it was alreay at max small. So, when they say 2 finger pinch they really mean a 2 finger spread and the zoom works. It would have been nice if they explain these changes when downloading new updates.

I received my 4.3 update last week in New Jersey, USA and lost the use of my camera zoom. I read about a 2 finger pinch but it does not seem to make the zoom reappear. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had to turn off my shutter option to touch the screen for this to work. Otherwise it tries to take a pic rather than zoom. I hate this part of the update. Also hate the gallery changes.

I've had th update to, but just found out if you use 2 fingers and pinch method on the screan before u take a picture the zoom bar appears. :)

My phone sometimes says updates stopped unexpectedly when it starts. I suspect that it is trying to update to 4.3 but can't.
Have you found out any more about 4.3 update comming to HTC one in south Africa?

I hate not having the zoom bar which I discovered at the Muse concert last night so no decent pics of my favourite band! Very dirty. It's gone from an extremely user friendly phone to the complete opposite. A nightmare. I agree that we should be given the option in settings. The Thanks for sharing what they told you btw or I'd never have known! Not that I could get it to work. I would like to complain too. Especially as I choose my mobile phone on the basis of the camera

Yesterday I've upgraded my One 32Gb from Android 4.2.2, Sense 5.0 to Android 4.3 , Sense 5.5
I had an issue with my car driving back home and a warning screen popped up in the dasboard. Quickly (and safely) grabbed my HTC One to take a picture of my car's screen in case the warning screen dissapears suddenly. But I couldn't took the right picture because the zoom bar of the camera is gone in 4.3 !
As soon as I got home I phoned HTC customer service here in Spain to find out about the dissapeared camera zoom bar issue. Nice and great people by the way, as they always has been. They kindly told me that I had to pinch the screen with two fingers for the zoom bar to come out. But is almost impossible to touch the screen with two fingers while holding my HTC One with only one hand. They also told me that the zoom bar behavior will be that way from now on, as it was part of the 4.3 update for the camera, decided by Android developers. So, from now on I'll need to use both hands simultaneously to take a decent picture with my 4.3 Android phone
I want the zoom bar back again, or at least I want the possibility to have the choice in the camera options to show or hide the zoom bar. The question is where to send my complaint or suggestion to get it to reach the Android developers?
