Puck, 17 Oct 2013I agree with you. Eye scanning seems unlikely. But HTC ha... moretrue, but its not effective. Apple's work 99% of the time. HTC's 50%. not good enough

But HTC has atleast made it possible for Android users to get as high security as Apple fans. So the One Max isn't a fail, it's for the group of people that want high security and doesn't like iPhones.

Promhize if only u can talk sensibly may be one day some one will take your comments seriously. Any intelligent person knows innovation is supposed to be practicable and should improve every day life not complicate matters and this feature isn't even a high tech feature.

c'mon be more realistic with your rumours... you know how close you have to put your eyes in order to get a proper high def image.. or how the sensor will have to work in all scenes of the day.. also not to mention how the sensor will have to have proper software support via OS.. and i MEAN PROPER support.. not like HTC one ~MAXX lol what a fail

If it turns out to be true, I bet it will work only once from each ten times..

it's always funny how people say samsung use ''cheap'' plastic for the construction of their devices compared to the so called ''premium'' aluminium other brands, and yet cheap is outselling premium why?...the answer is simple 'dont mind the body, mind the engine'

Useless gimmick from Samsung as usual. I think that a fingerprint scanner will get the job done well .

I believe a high-res front facing camera would be too unreliable and unable to work when it's dark. And I don't want to be forced to stare into a flash each time I want to unlock my phone...

this is just ridiculous, we have no extra time to unlock our phone with a retina scan or something is a waste of time, is just useless, they should focus on the battery, a smaller phone like de S2, that was the better galaxy so far

So every time you want to unlock your phone you will have to bring it close to your eye? How stupid is this?!?!?!?1………… Samsung is going really down……. At least with Apple Touch ID you simply forget that this form of security is there….. But with this stupid idea it will probably end up taking you more time to unlock your phone that using a passcode….. S4 was packed with stupid and unnecessary things and it looks like S5 will go the same way…. Yet another prototype on its way from Shamshung…..
