This phone is Google's version of the iPhone. Just how Apple forces its users to use their services alone including iCloud, you will also be forced to use only Google's services with this phone and for the limited memory available you have no other option but to use Google Drive. Why are people whining about no microsd card slot? That's how this phone is designed to be used in the first place. Nexus devices are not meant to compete with the other droids but with the iPhone.

If only Google really knows how to play the game right. Having a memory card slot on a Nexus device is a great reason why a lot of people must buy a pure Android device (stock experience and doesn't have bloatwares). Another thing is that Google should make the battery bigger at least a 2700 MAH minimum for a powerful device. I like Nexus devices but I don't buy them coz those simple things are actually some of the things I consider in buying a device.

2300 mah battery for this phone..??!!! Its a deal breaker. I would rather go for Motorola Droid Maxx. To battery life matters the most, not the specs...

The battery capacity if true is a deal breaker. I was seriously considering replacing my old bb storm with n5.I think l'l go with the new bb z30 with it's excellent battery...guess this device is not targeted at us busy working types...

so mean after nexus 4 I will buy again nexus 5 for better camera or Google can develop the program for new operating system to fix the nexus 4 camera become vivid.
because for me its better the design of nexus 4 rather than Nexus 5 with back to back glass and small phone with great display. But please just fix it the camera for the sake of nexus 4 users.

That would suck. Just put in a decent sized battery inside the phone. It's not that hard and it would be REALLY cheap. Using a 3,000mAh battery instead of a 2,300mAh battery would have costed LG like an extra $1.

My HTC One h... moreJust because you get a "full day" doesn't mean the HTC One has good battery life. It just means you are a light user. In my experience trying out the HTC One I've found the battery life to not be very good. With 15 minutes of screen on time right after unplugging the battery dropped from 100% to 92%. That's pretty bad.

The Snapdragon 800 will help power usage some(mostly in stand by) but the biggest power hog of any phone is the screen. If you only use your phone 1-2 hours a day of screen on time a 2,300mAh battery powering a 4.7-5" 1080p IPS LCD might be fine. Use it more than 2 hours of screen on time and it will be dead before dinner.
