I hate to be a spoiler but 90% of the 12 million handsets sold were the nexus 4 which was receiving heavy discounts because Google wanted to clear it's old inventory for the upcoming nexus 5.
Those phones selling cheaper than peanuts made huge sales for LG!
I like LG as a brand a lot but the truth is The truth!

LG 40Million smartphone sales target nearly achive!
Q1 2013 : 10.3 million
Q2 2013 : 12.1 million
Q3 2013 : 12 million
Q1~Q3 : atleast 34.4million, so just left about 5.6 million
if g2 sales over 10million (like what lg mobile target)
34.4million + 10million = 44.4million
there also many hot phone such as L series,F series, and also nexus 5
so the whole year sales may over 50million!

Just let LG strengthen its marketing and global availability, and will be side by side with Samsung. I use LG Optimus G Pro and I'm super stoked that Flagship. Unfortunately it was not available to get it here in Croatia, so I had to order from abroad. That's one of the faults in the access market by LG, so I hope I will make it right and have better sales results.

AnonD-175697, 24 Oct 2013I dont care LG! release our updates!Updates will come sometime in the next few months with 4.4 Kitkat. It's a whole new game now. They'll update their flagships. G2, G Pro, G Pad, etc. They'll do a big rollout.

the only reason samsung is ahead of lg because they spam the market with their same-looking phones. just look at the samsung section. count how many s4 variants are thereXD!!
