Just checked my S4 again, latest update has been installed, 4.2,2.

So I guess I can expect KitKat in about a year, well played Samsung.

Might AirPrint this from my iPhone to my Epson like I've been doing for years, Android is so innovative.

AnonD-77488, 31 Oct 2013Interesting. Google wants every possible device to get KitK... moreit is a chipset problem... there are no drivers for that particular chipset as the company that made them has closed shop...

Interesting. Google wants every possible device to get KitKat yet they don't want to update Galaxy Nexus, which by that logic is more than capable to run it? How about Nexus S, Nexus One, both have 512MB of RAM, I suppose they won't get it either since Galaxy Nexus won't, which is vastly superior to both.
              Irony, yeah...

Cannot see companys supporting every device but future models will,,cannot see Samsung galaxy Ace getting KITKAT for example.

This is very very good. Now Samsung/LG/Sony won't give excuses that the older devices aren't able to get the latest Android because of more hardware requirements. It's just nothing but to draw us to buy their latest phones. 4.4 will change everything. I wonder why Galaxy Nexus isn't getting the update..
