What are some of the best... moreHi Loreal Kelly same thing happened with me. the mobogenie app tried installing it self. on search through internet found some good answers to it. And from what i know its not a malware nor some cheap stuff. i have been using their software (pc) since past 3-4 month and its clean and good. its just to help android phone user. i have not used the app yet. They are legit software developer company and also do reply to user feedback through their support team. Official website is www.mobogenie.com.
one more thing Uninstalling problem is long gone from mobogenie it was a bug in earlier build now you can simply uninstall from you PC.
Its a good software try it will make life easy

Google Play Store is not safe either. They always have to remove malwares from their store.

haha, lets all ignore all the malware that showed up in the PLAY STORE itself people.
numerous times this has happened. And just because YOU do NOT notice you got malware, doesnt mean you don't have it.
Same said for Windows, people claim "I don't need no antivirus and i have no viri"... are the same ones when you use their system, is filled with malware left and right. And generally they are also the ones reinstalling their computer every few months.

LOL. It's because all the Third Worlders who write those things have Androids.
And because most are running old OS, and if newer, they are rooted.
That's why I don't root anymore.

It's the challenge for the user, who're not tech-savvy. who don't know about these malware. Brace yourself, because any thing happen with anyone. You could be next target, please use your android based phone, cautiously.

Malware related cases is biggest challenge for the Android user and for it developers. It shows the popularity of the android platform. It was shows that those who creates these malware are using the android based phone.It was shows that how easy it's to penerate the other user's details. But I suggest that we should be cautious and developers should take the steps to make it more secure and reliable to use.

I don't know how many malwares are running on my droids but whatever the number be, i don't need to fear as i have disabled Google Play, Google Maps, Hangouts, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube and everything else that is owned by Google and thankfully i don't even use any banking apps because i know Android was owned by Google to spy on users, distribute the user's Google ID to every other companies who sends you so much spams. Not to forget, the recent NSA hacking. It's just a crap OS with too many craps than good ones.

And Apple doesn't have this problem??? Why didn't this editor post Apples' lag, malware, virus and other problems they have been having for the past two years? All they post is Apples' software update problems, security flaws, server crashes and hacks...

Android is the most buggy OS I have seen, having used at least 6 Android phones. Never had malwares on Android, but I wouldn't know, they hide in background.

I hope all your kids now that WP is safe not only because the numbers of user, bu because is not an open market and Nokia and Microsoft review everything that enters the market. Is just good job to maintain the software running good.

I recently got malware on my S4. What are some of the best ways to find and eliminate it?
I installed TrustGo and Malwayrebytes but that was after the malware was on my phone.
It was a file called MoboGenie.apk that auto-downloaded when I went to a site. I deleted the Mobogenie file but it still seems like my phone is freezing, and randomly crashing now.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I've read that you can't just run a scan from your computer to your phone because it won't find Android viruses. Is this true?
