AMOLED no longer over saturation, you can pick how saturation or natural as you prefer in S 4 or Note 3, and Display Mate review is given highest accuracy on it.
LCD only IPS and SLCD3 panel is great.

i'm sure that z1 display is excellent.sony dont use Sharp IGZO technology.they may use LTPS panel that have lower battery usage and better quality than IGZO.sony display show reality.amoled have over saturated color.

Sony should get its $hit together and put up better displays on its phones. The current TFT-LCD displays are nothing but cheap with washed out colors. Viewing angles may be an individual's choice, but the loss of contrast in the current crop of Sony phones for just a small shift in the angle is highly unacceptable. Hopefully the next gen IGZO displays would solve that problem.
While some people may say S-AMOLED is the best display out there, my pick would be the S-LCD3 used in HTC One.

How the hell the company cheats a customer by releasing some miniature version? Everyone is well aware about Z1S and all of its goodness from a long time now but seems like you are late into the party. Don't blame Sony for launching another awesome phone so soon and enjoy the awesome thing you have in your hands.

Sony released Z1 is to compete with Note 3, G2, etc...
now samsung is still too strong to be defeated after all, it took many years to become no.1 as done by samsung to nokia.
But when compared to HTC, Sony has much better sales. even Xperia Z have better sales than HTC One.
And you know what the most incredibly, Sony was able to do it all, even without concentrating their products in two major American and Chinese markets.
FYI. Xperia Z1 is No.1 in japan

sony always failed cus :
-weak battary
-very weak & cheap ui
-very big bezels
-tft screen(wash out screen)
sorry sony but i dont wonder why every year htc and samsung become number one for phone of the year..
galaxy last year and htc one this year..
