I just got a software update notification today here in the USA (12/11/2013 @ 12AM) and I'm currently using the D802 UK model. I guess the update is here sooner than it was supposed to be. I'll post some review.

I too agree with u MP ... I had also purchased LG Optimus G Pro which is costing around 40K in Indian market .... It got launched in June 13 but yet to receive OS update on 4.2.2.... really its strange, not sure what LG is trying to do. If this thing continuous then LG market will be sued.
LG Do something or else the respect which you received coz of Optimus series will be not of use...

whats the point in buying a 32k phone if I dont receive updated version of Android. Mine is LG Optimus G (E975) should get a update.

yes its annoying. but if you have a Nexus 4/5 you get the update as soon as possible. and there both made by LG. strange one.

LG, five months is still way too slow. By then we'll be hearing about Android 5.0. Disappointed. Just remove your mess of a skin.

German Butcher, 01 Dec 2013Android 4.4 is much more stable than Android 4.1.2.Good thing then that the G2 is running on 4.2.2 as it is. Next to that, a ROM can be as stable or instable as the OEM makes it. Samsung has had quite a few problematic Android-version updates throughout the years. Going to a higher number does not always yield a better experience or more stable product.

I have not had a LG since 2004, back when LG lead the world in flip phone innovation. I have finally jumped back on the LG train the the G2...I work for ATT and I have played with every android phone the past 5 years...The g2 is by far the most well preforming android device I have used. Also the sleek design adds the finishing blow to all other Android devices. Hopefully kitkat will stay on par the the internal specs of this monster.

this is my first time having an LG mobile everybody said i am crazy to buy LG i found G2 is very good mobile but LG has poor customer service, so disappointed to know that we have to wait 4 month to get 4.4
