If KitKat really able to run on low-end devices (~512 ram), I'm sure it will fill those 24% portion of Gingerbread.

It maybe a point update. But it's still 32-bit away from the ios's 64-bit. People who ridiculed about the possibility of running a 64-bit on a 1gb of ram are speechless. Cause of HD games running on a 1gb limit. Where android suffer's High memory usage when running non-HD games and sometimes the app crash.

AnonD-6193, 03 Dec 2013Chrome OS should replace Android in future for good... And... moreAs more features get added even Chrome OS will become bloated.

KitKat maybe the change in the right direction though. It's memory usage improvements are yet to be proven in extensive tests.
