The reason iphone gets such high sales is because its less of a phone and more of an Jewel... Yes iphone is compact and it also has alot of developer support from software to hardware ... we should be happy its expensive cause trust me if they could decrease it to a low price e.g. +\-$300 for even 1week in every carrier trust me we will make a long que ... longer than a voting line L0L....

A proof that people still prefer smaller phone. Listen that Android and WP manufacturers.
If not because of Nexus 4 was highly discounted in my place, I wouldn't buy it last August. I don't think full HD over sized phone has significant advantage to smaller HD one.

They were still testing the beta OS until that month. It doesn't matter if the iPhone and the Galaxy were not released concurrently. What matters is that Apple sells more iPhone 5s than Samsung does with S4 on a quarterly basis.

Woah! Samsung S4 is second?! It is really hard to believe, having in mind what kinda phones the Asian manufacturer makes. That was a surprise, but I suppose they sell them really cheap, compared to Apple's products - that explains the sales numbers.

Apple is superior in terms of user experience and ecosystem which are far more important than specs. I know a lot of people who are former iPhone 4s/5 users and bought an SGS4 but keep coming back to iPhone 5s. It's simply just better.

The only thing Apple is better is optimization. But I dont need it. For me customizable lock and homescreen and widgets is inevitable. And innovation is on Android side too. S4 has many features like air gesture smart scroll and etc. And the best screen technology is of samsung too-super AMOLED

this makes switching more complicated than just transferring contacts and sms
its a prison,hence the hackers use the term"jailbreak"

Beating Samsung Galaxy S4 on it almost end of life didn't make Apple iPhone 5S.
Try match-up Samsung next Galaxy S5 flagship on it Feb-March release time, then we can judge better.
I've believe Apple has intentionally push their new flagship release timeline from April to Sept-Oct, that make them a more coward side just to prevent their iphone losses more sale to Samsung.

The iPhone 5S is a really nice phone, if you've ever held one. For me, the fingerprint sensor is a rare useful innovation in mobiles nowadays.
Definitely a more elegant experience than the Galaxy.
I am tempted of going back to Apple, but will see what comes in 2014.
