Nokia need to make a monster android phone if they want to survive, because they are really failing and failing fast, they should call their flagship android handset the apology, for messing with the nokia faithful for years and years. Windows phone is an abomination, it's never been good and all the promises in the world isn't going to change all that, drop WP and start on android Nokia, removable battery, SD support, minimum 32GB, big old battery and a HD screen with the latest and greatest processor and more ram than any other handset out at the time or about to come out and they'll be back in business.

The reality is that Nokia is run by a child with his finger on a button and makes some ridiculous decisions.

Symbian is dead, Android has became boring to use now, WP8 is too restrictive, iOS is highly priced, BB10 OS is almost dead. Waiting for a new OS like Ubuntu Touch or Sailfish OS...

And for phones like that, the hinge must be A1, that's usually a big problem with flips. So I'm guessing they spared no expense in making the best in it's class.

I think DoCoMo has a few of their own too with automatic flip buttons.

AnonD-197784, 18 Dec 2013Bottom line, it's not Nokia anymore meaning it's not about ... moreThat depends on Asha! And even though, Asha is a 50$ phone. Why would they invest more on more on not so much profitable phones. People don't buy them because of updates. For updates, there are smartphones. Feature phones aren't meant to be updated now on timely basis. For example, considering smartphones like Galaxy Young or Fame or Win, will they every be getting Android 4.4? The answer should be No because no other manufacturer will invest on loss.

Asha phones will loose support 100% within months. They are already discontinued! Even if users don't know it yet!
