Apple branding means already 30 million iphones being used with 2G and wifi only as they are not compatible with any 3G or 4G network
The above deal brings an iPhone 5S & 5C with 4G capability
I imagine that if a person puts up with a 2G iPhone then 4G comes along....
just a guess new sale records will be set in China

China mobile was losing smartphone customers because of their bootleg version of 3G. Apple did not want to make a model that was specific to that band. That's why the announcements of 4G on china mobile and the iPhone came at the same time. If Apple was so desperate they would have kow-towed like other manufacturers and made it with chips for that version of 3G, that was really just dictated by the Chinese govt and not better in any way.

J, 23 Dec 2013By nothing, carriers are fighting to get a deal with Apple. From what I've read, it was Apple who was desperate for deal with China Mobile, not the other way around... Apple definitely would've had to reduce their profit margin in order to reach a deal with China Mobile. The Chinese aren't going to get bullied around by Apple like all the other Carriers do...

My say is.. a phone becamed great if it meets the user's needs. Having said that.. not all users have the same wishlist. Am a fanboy smith is a fanboy your a fanboy but it does'nt make sense to bicker each other. You became a fanboy of nokia for reasons you only know and understand so are us. So smith and raker stop it. Show some respect. Technology is ever changing.. one rises one falls.

People still haven't realise... morei am nokia fan boy for a reason. my lumia 520 went inside a high drain. survived fall from a tree survived stopmed by a bull survived(cracked screen but replaxed it my self) my mom put my pats inside washing machine with my phone in it survived got all updates till date and will get updates. speaking of android oem,who cares of giving updates? no one even they fill craps lods of boatware to steal data add more cores and ram and call that inovation. but still fail to give a lagfree experience. android oem has brain washed people to think more specs = better performance. look at google made phone nexus and moto g and x they have poor benchmark but still are far ahead in performace against snapdragon 800 giants with over 9000 gigs of ram. in truth software optimization >>> raw specs. people blindy look at specs and buy a phone. this is what need to be changed.

So many nokia fan boys lately. People still haven't realised there only phones yet? Seriously no one cares about your opinion, except the companies who love you for spending all your money. How does it feel to be manipulated by a company? Seriously just think about it... A few months down the line they'll release a new updated version that you'll want, you get excited buy it and then same thing happens months thereafter. Pathetic.
