The only two cons in this handset would be 1gb RAM not going with octa-core. So there shall be lag definitely and the power backup. I guess a day would be tough for this phone to be alive. More better job to be done Gionee.

AnonD-2815, 24 Dec 2013this phone is simply ''gorgeous'', i don't care about its d... moreagreed.... but multitasking will be hit by the sub 2gb RAM in 2014. That addition would have put in the high end category but now its stuck in midrange.

this phone is simply ''gorgeous'', i don't care about its display res. because HD is more then enaugh for a 4.7'' screen, with octacore this should be butter smooth in every task you throw at it. The design is stunning..

ET, 24 Dec 2013Well, "...comes with a rotatable camera module, which ... moreyou're right.
phone with rotating camera has been around for years (ie: Samsung SGH-E810, Nokia N-series, etc).
Oppo is just reviving the idea.

Well, "...comes with a rotatable camera module, which was first seen on the Oppo N1...", more precisely last seen on the Oppo N1, since feature phones had those some years ago.

Nice phone. I guess there's some motor to rotate the camera. Octa core is a big deal at this price. Only shortcoming is the battery.
