The truth is, the... moreThe difference is iphone is the only high end one to be madebof many other parts. And is the only one that could not even create a name or design without steeling them. As well copying, buying, and stealing many parts, ideas, and details. Til recently all it's SOCs were Samsung made and ripped off the same architecture design as theirs as well.
Like i said. They even had to steal the name iphone and even ipad.
Then they want to turn around and act like they own the world. Meanwhile johs was openly a thief yet would turn around and call innovation and legit things "stealing" saying its wrong for people to steal.

Since when is yhe first release of anything generally perdect? And if they did not make and release the high tech stuff where would we be? With low tech stuff. Specs are every bit as important as the high quality sofyware needed to drive it.
Looks more like all the haters can do is babble about specs ajd marketing.
Maybe Samsung should not offer more things and higher tech options than everyone else. Theb you and others could be happy? Oh wait no... then you would laugh at them for notbeing as advanced as others.

The truth is, the... moreSymbian is far ahead of IOS in almost everywhere. Lacking a fresher style and apps in comparison are the absolute only two things IOS have.
Especially back in the day. Going to IOS beginnings it could not even mms or copy and paste. Still has no file manager, bluetooth transfer, or native flash support. Side loading, usb mass mode, oranything like that. Symbian had all of that then and even had 3D multi tasking. The newer belle and anna and meego only lacked tge same amount of apps.
Symbian is light years ahead of ios as an os.
And yes Android lags a little. Nothing major though. So does IOS. And even Wp sosetimes.

FLEXIBLE display, ADVANCED Dram memory with this and that and how fast it is this and that. Let's look at these things with a LITTLE BIT of thinking here. Flexible display, how is it used? is the technology there yet? is it worth it to spend money on the first few flxible display out there? just like the Galaxy gear, they are already going to come out with a new one because the first one's simply a trial. oh and samsung loves to use the word ADVANCED. Look at their ADVANCED stylus pen. That really made samsung fans drool and sold millions lolz. These fans just sees omg fast processor, better camera! advanced ram! eye strolling! like honestly? do i need to say more ?

The truth is, they just don't think. Remember i am arguing with people who thinks "Symbian is better than your crapy iOS" or "Androids do NOT lag". When people go to that extreme to protect their thinking. What more can i say?
And i have people who says Iphone uses other company's parts? Honey, who doesn't use other company's parts? don't tell me Samsung is not using other people's technology when their heart and brain is an android OS. So please guys give some thought before attacking.

gam30toronto, 13 Jan 2014Don't even try to give me numbers because i can just give y... moreExactly. I mean what else does they can brag about? Every time when they are out of arguments, a word "Sales figures" appears as they want to WIN so badly. How desperate to win.
On the other hand, I don't believe S5 will be a massive hit since the Galaxy S series has already seen much of it's success. People have ended up buying Note 3 and S4 just now and still, how many "millions" are there to buy an S5. I doubt not everyone on the earth want a Samsung Galaxy Flagship. There are other brands as well but Samsung is desperately trying to create a mobile phone-monopoly which will not happen because of the strong competition.
Whenever a manufacturer tries to extend it's limits knowing that the competition will crush the legs, it doesn't perform well no matter how much amazingly they are marketed. The sales of S4 has already shown the slowed down sales performance of Samsung Galaxy S flagships and "Oh please fanboys, don't tell me it already sold more than 40 millions". Keep in mind that this is not just a single phone that has been sold in millions, it's basically Samsung Galaxy S4(snapdragon), Samsung Galaxy S4(octa), S4(Active), S4(LTE), S4(Advanced), S4(Advanced Active), S4(Advanced Active LTE), S4 mini, S4 duos, S4 Zoom. I might still be missing some other variant. So once again, it's not just a single S4 that has sold in millions but there are over 8 models that had helped Sammy to reach figure and already Samsung is aware of the aforesaid fact that it has decided to announce variants just before even announcement of S5. How more desperate a company can be?

S3 - 50 Million to... moreDon't even try to give me numbers because i can just give you this: The Nokia 1100 - 250 million have been sold since its launch in late 2003. So please don't even try to give me numbers.
No doubt Samsung is doing well but i am telling you right now that it is NOT going to last. Just look at their trends and give a little thinking is all it takes. THINK for once.

S2 - 40 million (as of 14 January 2013)
S3 - 50 Million total (as of 14 March 2013)
S4 - 40 Million as of October 23, 2013
Note 2 - 30 Million (as of 25 September 2013)
Note 3 - 10 Million units sold in the first 2 months
.... and still COUNTING!!!
All So called "Cheap plastic", "laggy" , "gimmicky" devices could do...
Undoubtedly, samsung is one of the popular and best smartphone manufacturer of this era..

Here is a proud owner of Galaxy S4. Previusly I've owned iPhone1, Galaxy S1 and S3. It's true that S1 started to lag, that's why I've changed it to the S3 witch was and is a great phone. I decided to get the S4 for these reasons: more processing speed, more RAM, bigger and higher resolutin screen, bigger battery and more powerfull speaker (all the things I loved in my S3) in a more compact form factor. For me this was a deal breaker. Now I am very happy with mt phone, doesnt lag using NovaLauncher, I can get and play 2Gb gameloft games for only 0.50 euro (I don't know how much is in Apple Store), I can ddowload almost any application or game from the Play Store for free, and if I like it I can buy the full one for the extra functions. Compared to iPhone I miss the large variety of accesories on the marjet, and I admit, I use the iPhone 5 headphones. If I wanted a phone just for making calls, take pictures to upload them to Facebook and chat I whould of taken the iPhone. But I wantore from my daily. I want a computer in my pocket than can do what I whould do on a PC. And this my S4. If S5 will come with bigger battery, better processor, more RAM, bigger display (still full HD) and in a smauler case, then I'll argue with my wife again and buy it (with out any metal case that will scrach and look like hell in a couple of mounths).

I am fine when you say Apple have the same design language in iphone 4/4s/5/5s. That is 4 phones with similar designs in the last 4 yrs. Samsung has same design for 50 phones in the last 4 yrs. The problem is WAY MUCH BIGGER in Samsung than Apple. As you can see people actually COMPLAINED about the cheapness of the Samsung Galaxy phones that is why in one of the articles the CEO said we LISTENED to the users and will create S5 with more premium materials. so lets see what Sammy will come up with in their S5. let me see, bigger screen, faster processor, metal casing (copied from?), includes a gold color (copied from?) better camera, better this and that and add 30 more gimmicks like advanced air gesture that will kill the battery dramaticly. (most of those gimmicks were turned off on my friend's S4s due to lack of use and battery drainage)
