I have encountered this fault mutiple times with varying age of phone, most commonly is around 6 months old. This points to a design flaw in my opinion if its the same fault over and over. All phones have faults its just some are more prominent than others

Dot-WiFi, 15 Jan 2014thats because u used ur phone like u gonna kill it.... I don't have an iphone as they are overpriced "decent" phones. I work in the telecoms industry and see how many become faulty with the same common fault. Only 1 iphone has ever had good build quality and that was the 4S all others have been appalling.

China mobile doesn't do landlines. You really have no idea what you are talking about, do you? Are you really naive enough to think that all 760 million people are in the market to change there phones this year? Of the people who are in the market for a phone, how many will buy smartphones? Of those, how many are looking to buy high end smartphones? Of those how many live in the 14 cities that have China mobile's 4G now? Do you think simple marketshare is the only metric for success that companies have? Who said anything about envying Apple?
Maybe when you graduate from high school and get a job in the real world (if you can get past an entry level position) you will understand how business operates. Until then, I understand why everyone here calls you a troll and you get lots of your comments deleted.

China people believe in savings and money for long run. You buy other android phones.. in 2 years time it cost nothing..
The close nature of the OS is no big deal. So long as i can play games/browse net/watch shows/listen music smoothly.. whats the big lost?
I do not need to have a octa core phone.. ending up lagging because of a unoptimized OS...

I wonder, if the 5s would run Android, would it top Linpack? The camera is not much good either, the screen and battery are quite small, it doesn't have a card slot, yet it costs more than any other phone. iPhones aren't a good investment for these hardware-related reasons alone, not to mention the quasi-obsolete iOS.

i think the ipad mini will sell better than the iphone 5s in china since larger screens are often preferred in asia.
