but i thought the multiwindow option that is louched with G FLEX will be coming with kit kat update, now seems to be not, so no point of an update.The minor imrovements is not required now as G2 performs like a king with current OS

I think this is fast enough.. if i remember correctly, even SGS4 not received kitkat yet? aside from those Google Play Edition phones, so far only Galaxy Note 3, but it is still only the international version.
Of course, there is Moto, which i think did a very good job to deliver KitKat so soon to Moto X, G, Droid ultra, etc. But still it is partly because those moto phones are basically pure android with (very little) additions.

Optimus G? its quadcore snapdragon, why on earth didnt update to Kitkat? my next phone will be either nexus or Moto. will be always promised got the update. Shame on LG

Ofcourse its just gonna be changes on the performance side. I dont expect these manufacturers to start dropping their custom skins anytime soon.
