Well I'm waiting for next generation moto x

this is probably successful because this is the first phone ever they are giving timely software updates to. At least so far.
Even defy+ was vastly popular till they turned it into a deliberate failure by not giving it the ICS update that would have greatly benefited it.

Moto G is out of stock in my country. Motorola should make it available widely in many different platforms (currently available only on one online retailer).

Samy, 26 Feb 2014with all due respect I don't see why anyone would buy this ... moreNot only does the Nexus 4 cost more, it's battery endurance rating here on GSMArena is 32h compared to 54 for the Moto G; Nexus 4 isn't as durable with its glass back and is not splash resistant (has everyone seen the Moto G water tests? Amazing); it's a larger phone physically for those who care; it's not for sale anymore in my country.
The only real advantage of the Nexus is its 8MP camera vs 5MP of the Moto, however everyone complains that the Nexus camera isn't very good. The Moto G camera, on the other hand, is very nice for 5MP and performs well in low light. I believe the Moto G camera is better.

Samy, 26 Feb 2014with all due respect I don't see why anyone would buy this ... moreNexus 4 is priced at ~ Rs. 26000 in India (16 GB) while Moto G is priced at Rs. 14000 (16 GB). I could buy two Moto Gs (8 GB) for the price of one Nexus 4 ;)

Samy, 26 Feb 2014with all due respect I don't see why anyone would buy this ... morenexus 4 costs almost double of what moto g costs

Well deserved, this is an amazing little phone for the price. I got it because my old phone was wrecked, and I wanted to wait a few months to see what the new flagships were. So I got this as a "temporary" phone, yet I'm so happy with it I think I while live with it for a while.
The screen is really nice, the PPI is better than my eyes, and it's actually the most responsive android experience I've had. I'm really surprised and couldn't recommend this enough to other people who either want an entry level phone, OR are waiting for the right flagship to come along (whether that be Android, Windows, or iOS).
