Chinese are 'lazy', they just want to make 'quick money' don't think about others.

    I'd say the Blackberry Q20 would be close to highlight of the show.

    But I don't think they actually showed it, did they? So, uh.. yeah.

And we're talking about MWC and the phones presented here.. not your outdated phone.

      Almost everyone here we're disappointed on the design part..

      * S5 looks like S4 with S4 Active feature, and a fingerprint...
      * Xperia Z2 looks like Z1 with only a smaller bezels and larger screen...
      * HTC Desire looks like iphone, yeah really..
      * Huawei looks like iphone too, as expected from the Chinese manufacturers (why won't apple sue them??)
      * Alcatel one touch looks like a GS4 rip-off.

      Now tell me if my statement is wrong. Goodluck

        well the show although good. was not amazing. Also the handsets are just updates, and nothing ground breaking. S5 looks awesome but again so did S4. LG did little. Which i was hoping for LG G3, and smartwatch, but it was about fitness bands, not smartwatches. Lets see what google and LG can bring to the party, in the lines of smartwatches later this year.

            I think that mobile industry has reached the limit. The only way it can go now is pumping specs. I mean, what else could they do to be innovative and groundbreaking?! To put a coffee machine or a shaver into a device??
            Ok, lets be serious...flexible screens - idk...holo projection - distant future...
            The only thing left is some new battery technology, but considering the way they think about mobile device, that's hardly possible.

The iPhone 6 has not yet been announced, no boundaries have been reached in Apple smartphones. Stop looking for cheap android/WP8 alternatives. Then you will find quality and value.

                    Nothing thrills me this year, except Nokia launching Android phones! The low configured Nokia mobiels cant give competition to flagship phones. So Nokia, please come up with high configured mobiles! You will be the King again!

                      I was interested to see Nokia's X series, but none of them support my carrier.

                      So.. now I guess I'll have to wait to hear more about the Q20.

                        AnonD-18905, 27 Feb 2014most boring MWC so far . nothing really innovative happened... moreAgreed. I'll repeat what I said in the various brands thread.

                        I just see a ton of poorly differentiated slabs. Produced by a small number of manufacturers but badged by different brands.

                        Phones are where PC's were in the late 90's. Commoditised, all about the same and the margins must be ridiculously small.

                        It gets to something when the most interesting phone is a BlackBerry which brings back features long abandoned (and count me in, q20 looks great).

                            This was the worst event ever. Nothing new, nothing different in design... Just good that the phones out now will go cheaper! Nokia now decides after all this time to go with android, and they do it in the most stupid awkward ways. They really lowering the coffin!

                                  Leaders underwhelmed this time. Samsung did not bring much this year, Nokia made a nice move but to be honest I dont understand their marketing strategy. They had the Icon ready for a while but announce it months later, one week before MWC, yet now they dont announce a world wide WP flagship like they dont want to sell phones till april or may when WP8.1 launches. I bet Samsung thanks them. Nokia only needed to change the case a bit, give it another name and they'd sell few million devices till april along with their android line. Then, they could have poped a simmilar model but without hardware buttons to suit WP8.1 at its launch. Nokia's effort is admirable and their devices beautiful but their timing brings them much harm.
