And some things it took til the 3gs to get..the ios update after the 3gs and the 4 to get...and a couple ios 7.

And never has an iphone been evenly matched to a Galaxy or most droids....Just having a chip that runs a little better due to a completely crippled os or this past generation starting with a newer architecture does not equate to evenly matched.

The only dual core to have a huge advantage from an iphone is the last one and only because it used a much newer more powerful architecture. They still messed it up by limiting the ram powering the 64bit.
And the only real reason they have any advantage is because the entire system is restricted system wide to create a failed illusion of perfection.

Although it's barely better than s4, i would still take it over the s4 because it's waterproof up to 1meter and that is a huge plus in safety to make the phone last... the s4 active is a good waterproof phone as well. it's about safety and making your phone last..

Why 8 cores got trashed by dual core or even single core phone? Yes. Even when that 8 core phone is running ONLY that application and everything switch off.
Why is the touch so much smoother on that single core / dual core phone?.. And the one in the 8 core is feels like you are interacting with a robot.. so stiff touch control?? Oh yeah.. its android.

It's important what the processor is used for, too.
If it is inside the poor device with feature-less OS(like the feature phones) even the weak processor with O.5gb RAM could fly.
