I have the LG G2 since a month now, moving from an iphone 4 and I absolutely love this phone, the screen is and specs are top notch, and now with the update to kitkat it's even faster...highly recommend this brand.

I hope you didn't mean removing the battery or anything hardware..maybe adding a storage card is a better option but it has nothing to do with open source.That would be software.Android is Open source,but really it's a linux without all the security features.Don't let Apple know it doesn't know...lol ...it's a Linux too
Windows is something else.
But LG G2 is better! :-) I like my Back plate scotch Guard clear tape and didn't see it 2 months later looking closely.

LG needs to see that the majority of their profits are from the L and F series and work to please those customers. Not take them by the hand and force them to use their phones how LG wants...effectively removing freedom of choice and going against the principles of Open Source.

Removeable battery ? Oh big deal for an option.I saw someone with an different android that had removable battery trying to fix itself and then just messing around with the SID card to fix itself. Blahhhhhh...I own a LG G2 for 3 months and I'm happy and got the Kitkat too to boost.My Phone is hardware..not a fixware.

I own a lg g2 32gb and it is amazing phone. I love it. It is far away better than sgs4 that i previously own. Lg go for g3.

To be honest LG is as good as Samsung. and they catching up fast. G2 is amazing. And G3 will be as well. Roll on G3.

if they continue to make phones with g2 level(+sd slot, removable battery, more memory, fast update and less skinned), then they will do great.

The product quality of LG is not that good, for example poor quality in Nexus5.
The UI is still losing out to iPhone, Google Stock, HTC, Sony.
However it has better UI than Sammy.
