I have both and for me the Note 3 (1080) is noticeably sharper than Note 2 (720) when web browsing or reading text, not really for videos and pictures though.
That said, any increase above 1080 is just stupidity and simply a pixel race.

I just hope Samsung doesn't kill the Note 4 like they did the S5.
Higher resolution only means worse battery with very minor improvement in sharpness.... water and dust proofing means a bigger device.

I thought I was the only one experiencing that Signal drop/error all the time it switches from 4G to 3G to 2G. It's so annoying.

i heard rumours it will have a built in ray gun,a microwave oven,a sofa bed and a olmpic size swimming pool complete with life guard....why waste time speculating on what might be and just wait for the official specs to be released....jeez....

I have seen plenty of people doing fine with the same phone on one carrier's network but having problems like what u have described when they switched to a different carrier.

Quality of samsung phones are in question... my samsung note 3 is a problem were my signal on both data and gsm drops from full to nothing and then repeats quite a few times on a daily basis. What will you put in exchange with big screen and so much features? The built quality of the phone is declining! Whats happening with samsung???
I love samsung from S3, note 2 no problem but thjs note 3 is a pain. What could be the best alternative for an android device? Htc or LG or better yet go back with Apple were built quality was never in question....
