The Exynos chipsets is showing better CPU performance and has a slight lead in 3D too.

It's simple really. Like the Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S5 has all 8 cores enabled. That's how they perform better. Otherwise, it's the exact same SoC as in the Note 3 Exynos Octa.
