I want them to make A LOWER-end variant with the same perforamnce as Snapdragon 600 BUT MUCH MUCH LOWER POWER CONSUMPTION compared to the original Snapdragon 600.

WTF......still snapdragon 801 is yet to be experienced!and qualcomm has unveiled so many chipsets which reduces power consumption by 30-50%,what non-sense why dont u introduce chips which doesnt need power at all?then where the hell u will introduce next gen chips which consumes power lower than previous gen. and so on previous and previous and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.idiotic qualcomm.

I'll have the Snapdragon 1000 by the time I'll buy my next phone! Which is in the next two or three years tops.

Sounds pretty good, an 82% (1.4x1.3= 1.82) increase in GPU performance is definitely awesome.

So who else here thinks that next year's tablets will be using 4k resolution?

Interesting to see Qualcomm are choosing to use standard Arm cores instead of developing their own 64-bit successor to Krait?

I’m sure cost is a major factor in this decision, but Qualcomm have always been proud that their high end SOC’s use in house custom core designs, so it’s a little surprising to see them apparently abandoning this approach.

AnonD-219781, 07 Apr 2014Beautiful! I hope this powers the Note 4 instead of the 805.S4 will not be matched against anything. it will destroy all with a 810 chip set

AnonD-219781, 07 Apr 2014Beautiful! I hope this powers the Note 4 instead of the 805.I doubt this. The new CPU's will power next year's smart phones.
