Meh... My mid range LG L9 runs much smoother than my Note1(almost the same specs).Now I have Sony Xperia Z and no lag,so I'll think twice before I'll buy another Samsung phone again.

hmm but yes ! most malaysian,bruneian and singaporean switching to apple,sony,htc and lenovo.Ive observed that iphone will dominate the smartphone market in Southeast Asia soon.Because if you ask some student especially from malaysia and singapore why they are working while still schooling,the most answer that you will get 'i just want to have an iphone' .

Anyways touchwiz is still lagdroid in note3 (octacore in India), hopefully that ends with kitkat and s5!

There are lots of rules governing them. You can't just throw out any number you feel like. Forecasts aren't meant for people who only read tech sites and don't understand the business.

yep..samsung is going to more profit loss in 2nd Quarter if they didnt stop locked phone is middle east.....sure samsung will face more losses in future ......

It's hilarious to see the reaction of the people in the previous comments. The smartphone market is getting saturated and all major manufacturers are experiencing flattening sales. This is not Samsung's problem - it is product cycle problem. Also someone below said that he does not see a point in forecasts. Really? The phones that Samsung (or any other company) is selling now have been made some weeks ago with parts that have been ordered 3 to 6 months ago. How would they know how many parts they would need today if they do not make a forecast 3-6 months ago? And yes, very often this forecast is incorrect because future is very difficult to foresee.

Well sometimes companies do a higher forecast, and thats not always the best way. personally dont see the point for financial forecasts, just get out there and sell your products and reap the rewards after.
