        Wait!
Isn't this the third Beam and not the second?!
I really wanted a Beam, but from owners of previous models I've heard that the only thing that stands out (pico projector) is the only major flaw in the phone.
As it turns out it gets broken very easily.
And we should not forget the heat this thing generates.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2014That's the ugliest phone I've ever seen.well thats the thing. Most of the people buying this phone won't be checking for the looks. Its all about the amazing technology of having a handheld projector (even though its useless for me).

I have no idea why OEMs are so desperate to put up the same pathetic Quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU in every mid-range device. It can't even match the two year old Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro. It's only obvious that the previous year's high-end CPU should be used in the following year's mid-range phones.

Maybe they plan to start combining some in the future.

                            AnonD-250208, 24 Apr 2014You have awkward taste :|Why?
-The Note is the beast of the beasts. Best display at time with strongest chips, amazing battery life, best in features Samsung has to offer. Plus Waycom with Spen.
-Galaxy S brings their best at time as well and then Note enhances that. S5 brought world's best display and water proofing with removable battery.
                            -Beam has buil in projector
-Zoom basically has the best Android camera. And in terms of optics "not pixel size" stacks up against PurView very well for having such a smaller sensor. Plus only phone with 10X optical zoom.

If they could combine all of that into one it would be outstanding. But it would also be very expensive. Which is probably why they have not already.
No matter how amazing it is most people are not willing to spend as much as it would require and the thickness would turn people away.

Samsung needs to combine the Note, S, Beam, and Zoom into one complete monstrous beastly device. The Zoom and Beam will make it thicker, but utilize that thickness to the advantage.
