I have an HTC desire 601. I can't update it. When I tried to update it in the settings it keeps saying it's updated but it's still 4.2.2. How can I update it to 4.4 kitkat update? Please help

i got the update 4.4.I was really happy with it before I start to enjoy music.kikkat update has eaten up the sound of device.oh please help me is there a way of getting back the sound it has with jelly bean.pls help me.or can i digrade to jelly bean withiut loosing the warranty?pls help me what I need most is the sound.

If ever it increased its very negligible.
As for the battery life, i can say that it did indeed improve..

For any of you having problem starting the "wipe cache" page, hold down the up volume button one sec longer after releasing the power button. Worked for me like this, but got it only on the 3rd attempt. Good luck
